Ice Skating

In the Holidays I went up to a place called Whitianga to stay with my Grandparents with Katelyn. (Check out her blog Here) We went Ice skating and it was very fun. It wasn't really ice it was plastic but it was hard to get used to. They had inflatable walls on the edge so you would fall into those but i mostly fell on my bottom. It was fun but Katelyn and I crashed into each other a lot. We ended up going twice because it was so much fun and when we went the second time it was like our first time again because you need to learn to do it again. When you begin to stand on the plastic you hold on to the inflatable walls and basically start walking then when you're ready you begin to start sliding your skates out a bit further and a bit further then you pick up some speed and let go of the inflatable wall and just skate. when you no longer need anything to lean on you start going up and down without any help.
