Fresh water is water that doesn't have a large amount of salt in it. Do you ever wonder about the fresh water that is left on planet earth? Well one good question is, does the small amount of fresh water in our hydrosphere ever change?Most of the water on earth is in the sea. About 97% of the water on earth is salt water but, fresh water is found in mostly lakes, rivers, ponds, wetlands and streams.

Gemstones are stones that are rare, beautiful, and don´t have defects. People often polish them so that they are shiny. They can be made into earrings, pendants and other jewellery New Zealand doesn't have any precious gems such as diamonds or emeralds. The main gemstones in New Zealand include:
  • Quartz- In this group are purple amethysts and agates of many. colours
  • Garnets- These are pink red or yellow.
  • Pounamu- This is also known as a greenstone or New Zealand jade.

In maths our new focus it symmetry. When we began maths Edie gave us some toothpicks and blue tack. We had to make 3 Dimensional(3D) shapes ...
